Locations

These are just a few locations I absolutely love taking photos at. So much goes into what makes a location right for you, and I am here to help you make that decision. Weather, time of day, preference for walking distance, and terrain are just some of the things to consider. When you schedule we talk about where will be the perfect fit! This list is not the end all be all list of places I travel to either, if you have a dream spot you have in mind, I can make that come true!

Rattlesnake Lake

Rattlesnake lake has PNW vibes written all over it. This scene has mountains, a lake, rocky beaches, making green and blue colors radiate. With a short walk from the car to the beach Rattlesnake Lake is great for all ages!

Three Forks River Access

Three Forks River Access is a local secret. A unique view of Mount si., river views, and rocky or sandy beaches make up this location. To get to this area it's about a 7 minute walk through a little patch of forest. This could be less convenient if you have someone who has a hard time walking with you.

Three Forks Natural Area

One of my personal favorites, Three Forks Natural Area is a stunning location for golden hour. In late spring and into summer you can find buttercups filling in-between the long grass (and by long, I mean long!). Wheat lights up when the sun hits it just right, and if sun is absent for your session here Mount si. towers over this meadow creating a classic backdrop. There are a couple different ways you can park for and access this location. One, you can park in a pull off outside the golf course and walk 10 minutes on a flat gravel path. Or two, you can park at Centennial park or the dog park and walk through the dog park. If you park at Centennial the walk is about 10 minutes, if you park at the dog park the walk is about 5 minutes. Trust me though, it is well worth the walk!

Meadowbrook

Another of my personal favorites, Meadowbrook offers a few different backdrops that are awesome for different reasons! One has a view of Mount si in the back and has practically no walking time from the car making it perfect for all ages. Another location has endless sight of long grass that lights up in the sun and a boardwalk for a rustic aesthetic. to get to this area it takes about 5 minutes walking on a paved and boarded path, also perfect for all ages. The last spot I love in Meadowbrook is right where you park for the boardwalk area, making it great for all ages. This is a great area to run around in, has grass that sometimes grows out (if it isn't mowed down) and has great light for golden hour.

Lower Snoqualmie Falls

Lower Snoqualmie Falls is a stunning and iconic location. The falls is surrounded by rock walls with ferns and moss growing from the cracks, and if the sun is working with us then a rainbow is a fun pop of color! A ten minute nature walk followed with a 5 minute steep descent and walking over rocks that can be slick make this location only for those who are up to the challenge. Between the time and energy getting to this location, lower Snoqualmie Falls is strictly limited to full sessions, elopements, senior portraits, and engagements. If you are in love with this spot as much as I am, then I can tell you it is worth the walk/hike!

Middle Fork Road

Middle Fork Road has so much to offer, whether you want a river view with mountains or a path through green mossy trees, it has some of the more unique views and spots in the valley. Locations on this road have fairly easy accessibility all around, ranging from a 5 minute walk through a patch of forest to a rocky riverfront, to a 2 minute walk from your car to an enchanting forest path. If these locations are calling your name I will send you a dropped pin on where to meet for whatever scene fits you most!

Unlisted North Bend Location

This unlisted location in North Bend is an absolutely phenomenal spot! In June, purple and white foxgloves grow together with daisies creating a stunning foreground of a unique view of the Snoqualmie valley. To get to this location it takes only a 5 minute walk on a gravel/dirt road which makes it widely accessible.  Due to the location being widely unknown, and to keep it somewhat that way to preserve the land, I will not share this place publicly. If you do choose to take photos here, I will ask you to meet me at Si view park and we can caravan from there. From Si view park it is about a 10-15 minute drive on a local road.
